Conduct research to select and secure suitable illustrative and photographic materials. Studies illustrations, photographs, video, animation, programming code, and copy to plan presentation of material. Create or select and modifies illustration, photography, video, animation, code, and writing as required to meet project needs. Scan in photographs and illustration; digitize video and audio; renders animation and video composites and establishes appropriate type style, size, spacing, color and composition for various projects. Execute layouts and renderings, utilizing electronic design, illustration, photo, video, animation, and web development hardware and input/output devices. Operate peripheral equipment associated with computer graphics, media, video/animation, and output, such as scanners, plotters, video digitizers, drawing tables, CD/DVD burners, mics and mixers, video and still cameras, and tape decks. Verify and coordinate with co-workers assigned to the same project to ensure consistency in format and quality, consulting with supervisor on final layout, medium, style and design, and any problem areas.
